Summer is flying by. We have an exciting fall coming but I would love it if summer would stay around for a long time.
This is the first time in 6 years we were able to take a vacation when we wanted rather than when dictated by football schedules.
This will be the first fall since 1987 that I will not have to get anyone ready for school. No notebooks, pencils, lunch money, nothing. Wow where have all the years and boys gone.
OH YA, they have gotten married or are growing up. Ryan is now the big 18 and I am no longer the mother of a boy. They are all men, well as much as they can be anyway.
Tom and I are on a health kick due to the fact that the doctor told Tom that he had 3 months to get his High Blood Pressure and cholestrol down. So we walk and sometimes run 3 to 4 miles a night. If you are looking for a fun workout go to Lake Shore Park and walk the 2.25 mile loop, oh ya and run on the flat spots. after the first lap turn around and go the opposite direction. Coming up the killer hill is really a treat.

May 09
Wow What a May.
Tommy graduated with his masters degree from carson newman. Ryan graduated from high school and both looked great in their cap and gowns.
My parents came in from Idaho and spent about 12 days with us. We enjoyed alot of shopping and spent time with the great grand babies. We miss having them with us. They were able to go to Scott and Kase's softball games.
Libby is kinda missing Grandpa Byron. She got to know him after her inital distrust and really took a liking to him.
We will be leaving for Florida on Saturday. We are taking Ryan on his senior trip. A family ritual each of the boys has enjoyed. We were hoping the whole family but work has snagged Kase, Laura, Tommy, Angela and babes from this trip. Scott will be joining us though.
About Scott he has proposed to Katie and in September she will be joining our family. What an exciting month May has been.
What an awesome family I have

Life continues
First of all I will never be as great a blogger as my d-i-l Laura. She is terrific at it. More exciting life perhaps after all she is married to Kase.
Well what has happen since my last blog?
i was in a car acciddent when my boss, Norm wasn't able to stop when the truck in front of me stopped short to avoid an accident.
Our beautiful taurus was crush beyond all recognition so we had to find another car for Ryan to drive. Luckily a friend was selling her Cavalier at an awesome price and so Ryan is now the proud owner of this car. I will post some pictures of both the taurus and the cavalier.
I was injured in the wreck but only enough to require physical therapy a few days a week. I do have an awesome Physical therapist and he has an equally awesome assistant who have helped me make great strides when i don't do too much lawn work.
Norm has been really great through all this and he feels really bad this happened.
Ryan is getting ready to graduate from high school on May 16th. This is both a wonderful and sad time. First there is no way Tom and I can be old enough for our baby to graduate but we will soon be empty nesters. But we will have Libby for company7
The exciting thing about granduation is the my parents will be coming out to visit. We are very excited about their visit. They will get to meet Lotus their third great grand child and renew aquaintance with Thomas and Sophie.
Also Tommy will graduate with his masters degree on May 8th. What a wonderful accomplishment.
We are knee deep in softball season so we get to go every monday it does not rain to Karns ball field and watch Scooter and Kase(when he does not have class) along with a wonderful cast of ward members and friends play some great ball.
Enough for now.
